Graphical Design Process
The creative process involves primarily creative staff working with technical staff and our client to ensure all functionality is catered for. Creative elements are drawn from existing corporate profile if present, in conjunction with discussion with the client, and any reference material provided.
An initial design concept is developed, staged as an image for you, and feedback is requested. If corrections are required to match client expectations these are made and the process continues until the client it ready to proceed with build.
Other "similar industry" web sites / references are taken into account when developing a design - however this is done with caution as to ensure that the design is individual and representative of the client.
The design process also involves taking into account the data (i.e. products, content) that needs to be displayed. This determines the utilised position and space within the web browser (e.g. fixed width, full width, centre etc).
Careful consideration for search engine indexing is made when developing the structure and design of the site, and the resultant templates used throughout the web site. TheXHTML Strict (if functionality permitting) or XHTML Transitional standards are used in conjunction with CSS (Cascading Style-Sheets) to achieve the main layout and interface. Base HTML tags are used at all times to permit better search engine content identification, and therefore keyword to content based indexing.
